SMALL BIOGRAPHY OF ING. FRANCISCO MEJIA
Mr. Frank
Francisco Mejia is a multicultural architect, engineer, and builder. Born in 1967 in the Dominican Republic, he lived in Aruba and studied in Holland. His fluency in Spanish, English, Dutch, and Papiamento has enabled him to work with both local and international clientele.
Francisco started his first company, ARCON, in 1995 and has been active in the construction industry ever since. With a background in structural engineering, he invented a method for repairing cracks in masonry and concrete walls, earning him the reputation of the crack repair specialist in Aruba. His system has since been emulated by many other contractors.
In 2001, he founded MEJIA Engineering and became more involved as an architect and structural engineer in numerous major projects, including Tierra del Sol, OASIS Condominiums, OCEANIA, and Gold Coast Villas, among others. He has collaborated with many local and international architects from Curaçao, Bonaire, the Netherlands, and Venezuela. With over 23 years of experience, he is now committed to delivering quality design consulting services, which he calls DESIGN BUILD.
